Cal Groudas

Cal D. Groudas (he/him) is an artist, designer, and entrepreneur with a BS in Behavioral Neuroscience and an MFA in Interdisciplinary Art. For the past five years, he's worked with startups as a user experience and product designer, helping teams build thoughtful and elegant products. At Artisans Asylum, Cal is passionate about improving the member experience, boosting engagement, and supporting creative growth through effective design and marketing. He brings a lifelong curiosity about how people learn, connect, and create — and a belief that great design begins with empathy and experimentation. 

When he’s not at work, Cal’s either watching horror movies, throwing dollar bills at a drag show, or redecorating his apartment. He lives in Cambridge with his cat, Winnie (short for Winnebago), who approves of most — but not all — of his design choices.
