Private Lessons

Looking for something more personalized? Private Lessons at Artisans Asylum are designed for makers who want focused, one-on-one support tailored to their goals. Our class catalog spans a wide range of mediums—from felting and fiber arts to machining, jewelry making, woodworking, casting, digital fabrication, and more. But even with dozens of offerings, we know we can’t cover everything. Maybe you’re developing a prototype and want to better understand how a specific tool can support your project. Maybe you learn best through individual instruction. Or maybe the timing of a scheduled class simply doesn’t fit your calendar.

Private Lessons give you the flexibility to work directly with an experienced instructor in the shop that best aligns with your project. Together, you’ll define the focus, timing, goals, and scope of your session—whether that means learning fundamentals, troubleshooting a challenge, or advancing an ambitious build.

To get started, identify the shop that fits your needs and browse the instructors listed below. Reach out directly using the email provided to coordinate availability, lesson structure, objectives, and cost. Once the details are finalized, the instructor will notify Artisans Asylum, and you will receive an invoice through your Nexudus account. Payment must be completed before the lesson can take place.
