Sarah Moriarty
Education & Outreach Manager
Meet Sarah Moriarty (she/her/hers) is an art historian and educator with a passion for engaging people of all ages, backgrounds, and skill levels in the artistic process. She has taught in a multitude of educational and enrichment settings, including the MFA Boston, Minni, Arlington Center for the Arts, and New Art Center. Sarah holds an MA in Culture, Criticism, and Curation from Central Saint Martins (University of the Arts London), in which she conducted extensive research on engagement methods for museums and art institutions.
Sarah is a self described life long learner, and leads with curiosity and empathy. She has come to define her approach as "Education is a conversation" and firmly believes that instructors have as much to gain from their students as their students have to gain from them.
Outside of work, Sarah enjoys reading, knitting, and spending time with friends outside. She is an animal lover and would love to hear about your pets (and see pictures!).
