ShopBot

ShopBot is a digital fabrication space built around large-scale CNC routing and precision cutting. This shop allows members to turn digital designs into physical parts by cutting shapes, patterns, and components from materials like wood, plywood, plastics, and rigid foam using computer-controlled machining.

Members use ShopBot to create furniture parts, signage, templates, structural components, and detailed design elements. Projects range from simple flat cuts to complex three-dimensional forms created from digital models. Whether working from line drawings or advanced 3D designs, the shop supports accurate, repeatable fabrication for both creative and functional projects.

What makes ShopBot special is its balance of accessibility and capability. With training, testing, and classes available, members can safely learn to use advanced CNC technology while building real-world skills. It is a shop built for makers who want to combine digital design with physical fabrication to create precise, large-format work.

Members and Day Pass users must complete Tool Testing.
